The Aquaculture program at Ningbo University (NBU), begun in 1958 before being merged into NBU from another college, is one of oldest aquaculture programs in China. Currently, Department of Aquaculture in School of Marine Science in NBU offers exciting opportunities for students interested in Aquaculture and applied research in aquatic systems at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. Approved by State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the Aquaculture program has offered Master degree since 1998, and the Doctor of Philosophy degree since 2007.The program aims to cultivate outstanding talents or professionals with profound and systemic knowledge of Aquaculture. The M.S. candidate must be able to use a kind of foreign language to read the magazines of this speciality and professional documents, write the abstract of dissertation, and be able to dialog in simple way. The Ph.
