DoctoralThe discipline of Computer Science and Technology main researches four orientations:
- Computer Architecture, include Embedded Computing Architecture, Parallel and Distributed Architectures, High-performance Computing Technology, Network Computing Systems and Architectures.
- Computer Software and Theory, including Collaborative Software Development Environment and Platform, Test Automation and Formal Methods, Distributed Computing Systems and Services, the Semantic Theory and Application.
- Computer Application Technology, including Applied Cryptography and Information Security Technology, Wireless Networks and Mobile Computing Technologies, Computer Network Technology and Applications, Intelligent Control Technology and Embedded Systems, the Multimedia Information Processing Technology, Databases and Data Mining Technology.
- Intelligent Computing and Systems, including Online Media Computing Technology, Machine Learning and Data Mining, Cognitive Computing, Intelligent Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Intelligent Analysis of Massive Data, BioInformatic, and other directions.
The educational system of full-time master candidates is given priority to three years flexible length within 8 years. The total credits are equal to or above 16.

- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health both physically and mentally with good academic background,who must observe Chinese laws as well as university rules and regulations,and respect Chinese customs.
- Applicants must have a master's degree or certification of equivalent education,under the age of 40.The high school diploma must be ready prior to the registration day.
- Must have minimum requirements for IELTS total score 5.5,or TOEFL score 80.
