Pharmacology
MasterSolidly master the basic theory and systematic professional knowledge in relevant disciplines or areas of expertise.Have the capability to conduct scientific research or to individually take on professional work including teaching, new drug development, and market academic popularization. Be proficient in reading foreign language materials in relevant areas of expertise. Have good ability in a foreign language on listening, speaking, writing and translation. Be familiar with modern information technology with strong ability to utilize computer and obtain information. Physically and mentally healthy.
Research Fields:- 1. Research on pharmacology in cardiac-cerebral vascular diseases
- 2. Research on molecular mechanisms of antitumor drugs
- 3. Anti-hepatopathy drug screening and mechanism research
- 4.Research on actions and mechanisms of regulating neuro-endocrine- immune drugs
- 5. Standardization and research on new drugs clinical and preclinical pharmacodynamics and security
1. Curriculum and Credits
Students must obtain 30 credits before thesis defense. Noteworthy, the credits for theoretic course study should not be less than 24, of which the degree course credits should not be less than 20, and non-degree course credits should be not less than 4. In addition, the credits for literature reading, academic activity, and extracurricular practice should not be less than 6.

2. Academic Publication
Students are required to have first-author academic publications, in which Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine must be the first affiliation. One review article and one research article are needed. These papers should be published in journals that are listed in the Guide to the Core Journals of China compiled by Beijing University.
- Fluent English with good ability on listening, speaking,reading and writing.
- Possess bachelor's degree or higher.
