Training Objectives
  • 1.Grasp the basic theory and systemic academic knowledge of the discipline and the methods of clinical research, get familiar with the academic trends of the discipline, possess the ability to do scientific research and teaching and combine modern scientific techniques with clinical practice, have excellent ability of clinical analysis and thinking and to deal with commonly and frequently seen diseases independently.
  • 2. Apply Chinese in reading academic papers and possess the basic ability to listen, talk, read and write in Chinese.
  • 3. Be familiar with modern information technology, have the ability to use computer.
  • 4. Physically and mentally healthy.
Training Requirements

1. Major Courses and Credits

Students should fulfill 44 credit points before oral thesis defense. The total credit points should be no less than 44 including no less than 41 points of degree courses. The calculation is based on 18 class hours each point.

2. Clinical Practice

The clinical techniques training for clinical professional post-graduated students is once a week in the 2nd to 3rd semester, three times a week in the 4th semester and twice a week in the 5th semester.

3. Scientific research practice and academic dissertation

Under the guidance of their tutors, the post-graduated students should take part in scientific research, select a topic, and compile thesis proposal and literature review according to practical situation. Thesis proposal should be carried out at the beginning of the fourth semester.

  • Fluent English with good ability on listening, speaking,reading and writing.
  • Possess bachelor's degree or higher.
