Civil Engineering
MasterDiscipline of Civil Engineering was established in 1923. With the tireless efforts of several generations such as Jin Baozhen, Xu Baichuan, Liang Zhiming, Liu Shuxun, Ding Dajun, Fang Fusen, Fang Zuoying, Tang Nianci, Lv Zhitao, Deng Xuejun, Jiang Yongsheng etc., discipline of Civil Engineering has been achieved large number of research results in this area and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. Discipline of Civil Engineering is one of the first Doctoral Programs at home. There are Post-doctoral Research Station of Civil Engineering, I Grade Doctoral Discipline of Civil Engineering, the National Key Discipline, National Engineering Research Center, Education Ministry Key Laboratory and Changjiang Scholar Professor Positions of Education Ministry. It is the key construction disciplines of the national "211 Project" and "985 Project".
The Architecture and Civil Engineering covers disciplines such as Structural Engineering, Disaster Prevention and Reduction & Protection Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Bridge Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Construction and Management of Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics. These involve not only engineering, but also economics, humanities and social sciences, management subjects.
Training ObjectivesStudents will be able to grasp the basic theory and professional knowledge of their own subject; understand the technological status quo and development trend of their own subject, master the advanced technology method to solve engineering project issues; be competent for the research, plan, construction, management, etc. of the project, become the high-level personnel of technology applied model with well innovative ability, international vision and sense of leadership.

This program could be taught in English, but only open when the number of applicants reach 5 or above.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants).
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who are still under 18 as of September (per admission year) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

1. The CSCA score is specifically required for Bachelor's Degree application. This requirement also varies for each university.

4. Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5-6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80-90 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
5. Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants). Applicants who have not yet graduated must submit an official Pre-Graduation Statement from their high school or university. (bit.ly/PreGraduationLetter)
6. Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's Degrees), compiled into a single file. 7. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's Degrees). Note
- Documents 5 through 6 MUST be in English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution (high school or university). Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
