Program Introduction:

The discipline has 20 professors, 18 part-time professors and 18 associate professors, including 23 doctoral supervisors. The academic leaders are academician Liu Renhuai, Professor You Jianxin and Professor Chen Yizeng, and the academic leader of second-grade discipline of intellectual property management is Professor Tao Xinliang. With rational structure and strong teachers, the academic team of Management Science and Engineering has undertaken many national and provincial research projects. There are more than 50 doctoral students and more than 450 postgraduates in reading. This discipline focused on both theoretical research and practical application. Some teachers keep close ties and conduct joint researches with many well-known domestic and foreign universities and research institutions in long term to cooperatively instruct doctoral students. Welcome students who are interested in engaging in the above fields of research to apply for related specialties.

  • To be eligible, applicants should be non-Chinese citizens with a valid ordinary-type passport, and in good health, and have attained the Master's degree. 
  • HSK 4 above 180 for Art;
  • HSK 4 above 195 for Science or Engineering;
  • HSK 4 above 210 for Economics or Management;
  • HSK 5 above 180 for Humanities.

Note: 1. Graduates who did not receive their degree certificates at the time of application should provide pre-graduation certificates issued by their schools or colleges to prove their ability to graduate smoothly and obtain their degree certificates by July 2019 2. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China, those who immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and applying to study in Shanghai University as international students, should meet the following additional requirements: the applicants must hold valid passport or other relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration), the applicants must have lived overseas for 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamp on visa.)
