1. 1.1 The doctoral candidates are expected to do the following: adhere to the basic principles of Marxism and the CPC fundamental political line, to have a great affection for our motherland, to follow disciplines and obey laws, to have good moralities, to possess sublime ideology and psychological health, have a good physique, to be enterprising and ambitious, to actively participate socialist modernization drive.

1.2 The program foster the advanced professionals who are provided with the overall development of moral, intellectual and physical education, which are able to lay a solid foundation in basic theories and acquire systematic & profound specialized knowledge, to be able to conduct scientific research independently, academic innovation, and to be able to accomplish the doctoral paper excellently. The program also foster senior professionals who are training for systematically acquire and effectively use the basic theory and professional research methods in the professional teaching and research, as well as propaganda, press, publishing, cultural exchanges and other related practical work.

1.4 The doctoral candidates are also required to be proficient language to read the professional literature, have strong writing skills, and be able to go along international academic exchange in foreign language. If necessary, he should take an elective course of second foreign language.

5.1 Postgraduate candidate teacher responsibility system This program implements the postgraduate candidate teacher responsibility system. The teacher should be fully concerned about candidates' political and ideological state, ethical, academic learning and health, in order to simultaneously expand their students and research capacity and personality.

5.2 The Steering group system for postgraduate candidate For take the advantage of our subject and even our department academic advantage, try to construct academic atmosphere that be propitious to foster the candidates' creative thinking ability, We will implement tutorial system and combine the way of training collectively. The specific functions to the Steering Group are coach and manage specially the candidates, discus modify and validate program-learning plan and examine the implementation, listen to doctor opening speech and interim report of academic dissertation, guide the thesis oral defense of the degree. The group generally sets up according to research direction, include 3-5 members and the head is the teacher. 6. Research and dissertation

6.5 Dissertation examination The dissertation should be in the academic front line and have the theory creativity, avoids being redundant at the low level. It should have transparent viewpoint, strict proof, abundant material, and clear consecution. It also should strictly observe the academic standard and achieve the higher level in the research area. Teacher must earnestly scrutinize the paper and table a proposal. The candidate should revise the paper repeatedly according to the teacher's comment. After the teacher agrees once more, the candidate can give the paper to other members of the steering group for an examination. Only when all of above progress are taken, the paper can be submitted to pre-reply.

6.6 The pre-reply of the dissertation After the dissertation has been passed the examination taken by the steering group, the pre-reply will hold in the specialty identical research direction scope, 3 month before the oral defense. Only when pass the pre-reply, it can enters the oral defense procedure. If it cannot pass, it must be revisit again before carrying on the per-reply. The particular matters concerned the examination and replying the paper should carry on according to the school unification stipulation.
