General Objective

  1. To have a solid understanding of the basic microbiology, application microbiology, immunology and the interactions between host and microbes.
  2. To identify the major challenges in the field.
  3. To conceptually understand the major experimental tools, techniques of the field.
  4. To present their research results or understanding of the literature to an audience in a formal setting.
Specific objective
  1. To study the molecular mechanisms underlying infectious diseases using systems biology perspective.
  2. To perform translational medical research of infectious diseases related microbiology.
