• The applicant should be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports, and should be good in physical and mental health and shall abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules of school.
• Applicants should hold Master's degree or above, and should be under the age of 40.
• Applicants should meet the requirements for admission in academic performance, academic ability and other qualifications. Applicants should also be proficient inChinese or English, and can use Chinese or English for communication, coursestudy, subject research and dissertation writing.

Preferential admission conditions

• English proficiency: A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with no section score below 6.5, or minimum TOEFL score of 90.
• Priority may be given to those who have published in SCI indexed journals during their postgraduate study. If the applicants are second authors, then their supervisors should be first authors.
• Applying for the program of Computer Science and Technology requires Advanced Mathematics and Programming Language Grade B or above.
