Brief Introduction
Chemical Engineering and Technology, a national leading subject, is part of First Batch Experimental Subjects of "Extraordinary Engineers Cultivation Plan" forwarded by Ministry of Education in China, Key Cultivating Subject of China and Zhejiang province priority among priorities discipline.
Teaching Objective
The major aiming at cultivating graduates with well-knit professional basic knowledge, tremendous implementing ability and strong sense of innovation, who can handle a butcher's cleaver skillfully.

This major exists many directions such as Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process, Fine Chemicals, Chemical Technology and Trade and Chemical Process Automation. Different majors aim to cultivate different talents to satisfy the needs of society. Chemical Engineering To cultivate senior talents with the knowledge to develop and make research of chemical engineering, the ability to design chemical devices and make management. Chemical Process To train senior talents to develop and design oil and organic chemical products. Fine Chemicals To cultivate talents to develop and make research the fine chemicals or other chemical related with this field. Chemical Process Automation To cultivate students to apply chemical engineering, automation control and computer science to the practice and work. Chemical Technology and Trade This direction is aimed to satisfy the development of economy and the need of market. The graduates will know chemical engineering as well as principle of trade
Internship Opportunity
Juhua Group Corporation, the largest chemical industry base in Zhejiang province, was founded in 1958. With its headquarters located in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province and production base in Quzhou, the company covers an area of 7.3 square kilometers. It has over 100 major production units manufacturing more than 200 types of products under 17 categories, such as fluoro-chemicals, basic chemical raw materials, etc. It has a state-level enterprise technical center and a postdoctoral research center and is the supporting institution for the "National Fluoro Materials Engineering and Technology Research Center" and "Zhejiang Juhua Sino-Russian Science and Technology Park".

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma and above.
2. Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ".
3. Physically and mentally healthy.
4. Applicants under 18 years old (Per September) should provide a letter of guarantee for their guardian in China (notarization required).

- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL IBT 85 (different for each university)
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4-6 (levels and minimum scores are different for each major and university)
4. High school diploma (for bachelor degree) and Bachelor or Master diploma (for master and doctoral degree), hasn’t graduated students should provide an official statement from your high school or university as proof of graduation (Pre-Graduation Statement).
