BachelorProgram Overview
Integrative Biomedical Sciences is a multidisciplinary degree programme that provides opportunities to investigate biomedical sciences in the 21st century. The core structure of the programme provides the knowledge, skills and personal and professional development appropriate to meet the needs of a future career as a leader in biomedical science. The programme provides opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in the biomedical, physcio-chemical and clinical sciences.
In later years focused optional courses provide opportunities to explore the biomedical disciplines of physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, immunology, reproductive biology, medical microbiology and developmental biology. Integrative Biomedical Sciences is founded on developing skills in academic research and scientific enquiry thereby encouraging awareness and understanding of the research that is needed to continue to advance clinical practice.
Alongside a depth of knowledge in Integrative Biomedical Sciences, graduates will have developed a breadth of skills and experience, including interpersonal skills, critical judgement and computer literacy.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who will be under 18 years of age (as of September) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

- Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL iBT 85 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
- Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's/Master's Diploma (for Master's/Doctoral Degree applicants). - Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees), compiled into a single file. - Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees). Letters must be issued on official letterhead, bear an official stamp from the institution, and include the recommender's email and phone number.

- Additional Requirements: Specific requirements vary by university. Examples include:

Note
- Documents 4 through 6 MUST be translated into English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution. Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
- Please neatly scan each document into PDF format. The file size for each document must not exceed 1 MB (the passport photograph must adhere to the specific requirements listed above). All documents must then be uploaded to the system at www.greatwall.co.id.
