Electrical Engineering
MasterThere are around 250 graduate students each year enrolled into the EE College to pursue graduate programs. The College currently offers the following degrees to its international students who have successfully completed Electrical Engineering graduate programs:
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Both the MSc & PhD Programs in Electrical Engineering are designed for international students who are interested in Electrical Engineering, including the areas of Electrical Machines and Electrical Apparatus, Power Systems and Automation, High Voltage and Insulation Technology, Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, Theory of Electrical Engineering and New Technology, and Electrical Information Technology. The Electrical Engineering discipline ranks consistently among the top 5 in the country, and was selected as one of the national first-class disciplines in 2017.
The course modules are tailored to prepare student for careers in diverse research fields in Electrical Engineering. All the selected courses are taught in English by teachers with years of overseas experiences.

Please note: Electrical Engineering courses instructed in Chinese are also available to international students with proficiency in Chinese. The list of course modules are subject to change.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants).
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who are still under 18 as of September (per admission year) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.
General Application Documents
1. The CSCA score is specifically required for Bachelor's Degree application. This requirement also varies for each university.

3. Recent Passport-Sized Photograph, formatted as follows: A recent full-faced photo (head must occupy 70% of the photo size); aspect ratio 4:3; white background without borders; size 100-500KB (*.jpg, *.jpeg). (bit.ly/ContohPhoto)
4. Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5-6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80-90 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
5. Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants). Applicants who have not yet graduated must submit an official Pre-Graduation Statement from their high school or university. (bit.ly/PreGraduationLetter)
6. Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's Degrees), compiled into a single file. 7. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's Degrees). 8. Study Plan or Personal Statement: Approximately 800 words, written in English or Mandarin (corresponding to the chosen language of instruction). The statement must be clearly signed by the applicant. General guidance points are available here: (bit.ly/PoinPersonalStatement)
9. Additional Requirements: Specific requirements vary by university. Examples include:

Note
- Documents 5 through 6 MUST be in English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution (high school or university). Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
- Please neatly scan each document into PDF format. The file size for each document must not exceed 67 MB (the passport photograph must adhere to the specific requirements listed above). All documents must then be uploaded to the system at www.greatwall.co.id.
