BachelorPROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Students will initially be placed into a general-studies category as their major. After enrollment, they will be assigned at the direction of their school to a specific major.
Legal education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University can be traced back to special and political classes during the period of Nanyang College in September 1901. However, it was interrupted during the education reform in 1950s until the Law School was re-established on June 8 2002. The law School received the new title “KoGuan School of Law” in 2008 in memorial of the generous donation of Professor Leo KoGuan. KoGuan School of Law has a strong, well-structured and international team of faculty, including 65 full-time faculty members. A variety of research centers within the law school has produced high quality scholarship covering a wide range of fields and disciplines, from constitutional law to law and society, from maritime law to competition law, etc. KoGuan School of Law has explored its own style of educating a new generation of law students and future jurists, and established its own reputation in both academic and practical circles. For the time being, it offers a full-scale legal education system including LLB, LLM, JM, and PhD programs.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants).
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who are still under 18 as of September (per admission year) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

1. The CSCA score is specifically required for Bachelor's Degree application. This requirement also varies for each university.

4. Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5-6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80-90 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
5. Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's Diploma (for Master's Degree applicants). Applicants who have not yet graduated must submit an official Pre-Graduation Statement from their high school or university. (bit.ly/PreGraduationLetter)
6. Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's Degrees), compiled into a single file. 7. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's Degrees). 9. Additional Requirements: Specific requirements vary by university. Examples include:

Note
- Documents 5 through 6 MUST be in English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution (high school or university). Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
- Please neatly scan each document into PDF format. The file size for each document must not exceed 107 MB (the passport photograph must adhere to the specific requirements listed above). All documents must then be uploaded to the system at www.greatwall.co.id.
