Flight Vehicle Design And Engineering
BachelorEDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
This major aims to train professionals with strong theoretical and practical abilities in Aeronautical and Astronautical Science and Technology, Computer Science, core subsystem and overall design of flight vehicle and its application, and other relevant knowledge. Students are supposed to be qualified in aircraft design and scientific research, as well as have the ability to pursue further academic research.
In the direction of Aircraft and Propulsion System, the following courses are emphasized: General Knowledge of Aircraft, Structure and Aerodynamics, Propulsion System, Aerospace Information Technology, Navigation, Guidance and Control, etc.
In the direction of Aircraft Information and Electronics, the following courses are emphasized: General Knowledge of Aircraft, Aerodynamics and Propulsion, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Electronics and Information, etc.
REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION
1. Master basic professional theories and knowledge, including Applied Mathematics, Aircraft Structural Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Aerospace Computing Technology, Navigation, Guidance and Control, Applied Electronics, Mechanical Design, Principle of Propulsion System, Aerospace Information Technology, etc.
2. Master theories and methods of overall design of flight vehicle, understand its cutting-edge technology, application prospect and development tendency. Has the basic ability to participate in the overall design of aircraft as well as qualified ability of scientific research and practical work.
3. In the direction of Aircraft and Propulsion System, graduates are required to acquire knowledge and ability in Aerodynamic Layout, Structural Design, Propulsion System, Aerospace Information Technology, Navigation, Guidance and Control, etc.
4. In the direction of Aircraft Information and Electronics, graduates are required to acquired knowledge and ability in General Knowledge of Aircraft, Electronics and Information, Navigation, Guidance and Technology, etc. Meanwhile they need to acquire basic ability in design and research.
5. Proficient in foreign language, and has the ability in computer software development and application.

General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who will be under 18 years of age (as of September) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

- Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL iBT 85 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
- Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's/Master's Diploma (for Master's/Doctoral Degree applicants). - Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees), compiled into a single file. - Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees). Letters must be issued on official letterhead, bear an official stamp from the institution, and include the recommender's email and phone number.

- Additional Requirements: Specific requirements vary by university. Examples include:

Note
- Documents 4 through 6 MUST be translated into English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution. Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
