Eligibility

1. Applications are welcomed from foreign citizens who are in good health and good status.

2. Applicants must be 18 years or above by Sep 1. Applicants who are under 18 years are required to provide written guardian consent at the time of registration.

3. Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship to take up foreign citizenship must meet the conditions set out by Document No. 83 (2009) of the Ministry of Education of the P.R.C.

1. Passport biographical page

2. Certified copy of the highest education certificate or certification of expected graduation (in Chinese or English)

3. Candidates who have previously studied at a university or college in China should provide behavior records from those institutions as part of their application.

4. Official receipt of payment of the RMB 800 application fee (USD 111 for overseas payment).

5. Applicants should provide evidence of financial resources or a letter of financial guarantee from the applicant's guardian or sponsor.

Note: Applicants are required to submit scanned images of all required documents at the time of application. All uploaded documents should be in Chinese or English; otherwise notarized translations in Chinese or English are required.
