This major is designed specifically for international students whose first language is Korean or Russian. It aims to train professionals to have a good command of spoken and written Chinese, obtain a certain level of cultural and business knowledge, master the art of translation and are qualified to work as Chinese-Korean or Chinese-Russian simultaneous interpreters. Students’ specialties are their Chinese competence, translation artistry and business knowledge. It offers courses taught by professional Korean and Russian teachers. Students taking this program will obtain a solid base of Chinese language and become excellent Chinese translators.

1. High school diploma, good health.
2. Applicants under 18 need to submit notarized guardianship certificate upon the approval of UIBE (For detailed information, please refer to Admissions Office).

3. A copy of guarantor’s passport or ID
4. A copy of passport or other identification
5. Asset certificate (if needed,i.e. current deposit on the bank statement shall be able to cover program tuition)
6. Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (if needed)
7. Two recent passport photos, white background, frontal view, no hat
8. A copy of the score report of Chinese Proficiency Test (new HSK) Level 4 (minimum 180 points) or above level (Unnecessarily provided)
ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Content of Test:
Chinese proficiency written examination (including Chinese listening test)
Comprehensive written examination (including English and Math)
Interview
