This two-year program is designed to provide students with a deep insight into electrics, electronic circuits, electronic devices, and the systems in which they operate. It is flexible in allowing students to select the areas in which they wish to develop their expertise. It will allow graduates from an Electrical Engineering background to further develop their skills as well as allowing students from other relevant degree backgrounds to build up a strong expertise in this area to complement their original undergraduate study. Covering state-of-art topics inelectrical engineering, this program aims at:

• Providing a broad spectrum of the knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering.
• Furnishing graduates with expertise in the practical design, construction, theory, and usage of modern technology in electrical engineering.
• Equipping students with comprehensive and in-depth knowledge in the scope of electrical engineering.
• Training professionals to meet the social and industrial needs in electrical engineering.

The research and teaching activities are fully supported and carried out in well-equipped research laboratories, including State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission Equipment & System Security and New Technology, National Fundamental Course Teaching Base of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Power Electronics Laboratory, Intelligent Information Processing Laboratory, Medical Imaging Laboratory, Embedded Systems Laboratory, etc.

• To fulfill the MSc degree requirements and get a graduation diploma issued by Ministry of Education, China, students need to:
• Pass at least 10 courses and gain 24 credits in total;
• Complete a project dissertation and pass the project examination.
