MasterThe College of Bioengineering of Chongqing University was founded in 1998, developed from the Biomedical Engineering Teaching and Researching Office and the Biomechanics Lab that were built in 1979. The College includes Department of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, Biomedical Electronics Research Institute and Applied Bio-tech Research Center. The College of Bioengineering is an important base for national talent education and scientific research. Biomedical-Engineering (BME) is a highly integrated subject, which combines the theory and method of Engineering, Biology and Medical Science to study the structure, function of human body and their relationship as well as revealing the phenomenon of life from an engineering angle. This program targets to cultivate high-level international inter-disciplinary talents with life science and computer technology backgrounds and strong capabilities to use technological methods to solve scientific problems related to human health.

Degree candidates, who have completed all the required courses, obtained 29 credits and passed thethesis defense, will be awarded with Master of Engineering degree and a graduation diploma issued by Ministry of Education, China.
- Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport,in good physical and mental health.
- Have a bachelor's degreein a relevant academic background.
- Applicants whose native language is not English need to provide score report of English language proficiency test (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL Internet - based 75 or equivalent).
- Applicants who apply for English language proficiency certificate waiver shall take a further interview arranged by the university.
