Curriculum According to the Chinese level of the students at the time of admission, the program will be divided into three classes: Class A, B, and C. Class hours are 30 to 36 lessons per week. The standard study period is one academic year. Foundation Chinese, Academic Chinese, Foundation Mathematics and English are compulsory courses. In addition, Physics and Chemistry are compulsory courses for science and medical pre-university students. Students in Class B and C can take up to 16 credits of elective courses (undergraduate foundation courses and general education courses). If being admitted as undergraduates afterwards, students could apply for exemption from the same courses,the credits of which could be counted as undergraduate credits.
The Pre-University Program is an intensive undergraduate preparatory education program for outstanding high school graduates who intend to attend Fudan University to pursue an undergraduate degree. Relying on our rich teaching resources and teaching faculty, the program will comprehensively improve students' fundamental Chinese language skills, academic proficiency in Chinese, and general education abilities through intensive Chinese, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry courses. Also, students can achieve the connection between high school and university courses. The program will also provide undergraduate general education courses for students to choose so that students can experience the campus life and learning atmosphere of Fudan University in advance. Students who perform well, pass the assessment, and pass the undergraduate admission interview, will get the opportunity to be admitted as undergraduates of Fudan University
Eligibility
1.Non-Chinese citizens who have graduated from high school or above, qualifies for university application, and are in good health.
2.At least 17 years old, but not more than 23 years old, at the time of enrollment in September 2023.
3. According to Article 5 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, if both or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled in a foreign country, and birth with foreign nationality, the applicant does not have Chinese nationality.
Document
1. Photocopy of valid passport identification page. Only ordinary passport is accepted and the expiry date should be later than September 30, 2025.
2. Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.
3. Diploma of highest degree conferred or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year of study) (Original or notarized copy, with notarized Chinese or English translation, if original not in Chinese or English).
4. Transcripts of highest degree conferred (original or notarized copy, with notarized Chinese or English translation, if original not in Chinese or English).
5. Applicants who are under 18 years old by September 1, 2025 must submit a Guarantee Statement, which can be downloaded from the website. (1) Website:https://iso.fudan.edu.cn/isoenglish/ click “Admissions→ Undergraduate” (2) The guarantor should be an adult, living in Chinese mainland with a stable source of income.
6. Certificate of HSK Level 3 or above (valid within 2 years from the test date), or materials proving equivalent level of language proficiency;
7. Applicants who fall under Article 3 of the "Eligibility" of this document:
(1) Applicants who were born in a foreign country and have acquired foreign citizenship at birth, should provide documents to prove that one or both of the applicant’s parents have acquired permanent residence of the country before the applicant’s birth. Applicants who have emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and have acquired foreign citizenship should provide documentation of cancellation or rescission of his/her Chinese citizenship.
(2) If the applicant has ever visited or lived in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, the applicant should submit entry and exit records and relevant visa or residence permit from April 30, 2020 (inclusive) upon application.
8. Applicants may submit additional supporting documents which may demonstrate their comprehensive abilities along with the required documents, for example, award certificates, published essays, etc.

10. Statement of personal financial capacity or financial support.
