DoctoralThe Condensed Matter Physics specialty in DUT was set up in 1998. In 2003, the specialty began to accept Ph.D submission. The specialty is one of major disciplines supporting the Key Laboratory of Materials Modification by Laser, Ion, and Electron Beams, Ministry of Education. 6 professors, 5 associated professors, and 2 lecturers are being engaged in theoretical and experimental study related to condensed matter physics and material physics. The specialty possesses advanced instruments involving fabrication of thin solid film, material modification, and characterization, as well as high-performance computer group station.

One paper in English version Science citation index(SCI) journal original paper or two Engineering Index(EI) journal original papers are necessary.
Paper Requirements
Not less than two papers are published in SCI journals.
